RE: Italy F4 - Siracusa - 2007.

Okay, I finally got in touch with him and the news is nowhere as bad as we thought it to be!!

The injury was a very badly twisted knee. He feared that the cruciate was damaged but a scan today proved that it was nothing more than a twist!

Morgan said that he could be up and running in one month time. When he returns, he aims to increase his fitness levels.

That's brilliant news (well, not that he has to be out for a month but you know what I mean) - thank goodness you can always rely on the MTF boys (even the supposedly reliable ones) to exaggerate!

Actually it was really scary. Morgan himself thought that something really bad had happened.

He would like to thank everyone here for the wishes.

Oh, ok, so maybe the MTF report was genuine after all - I seem to remember Fabio saying one of the Italian players there thought Morgan might have broken his knee. It must have been a huge relief to him to find out it wasn't so bad after all.

Q: when are you happy to hear you'll be out for a month?
A: when you thought you were going to be out for 6 months!

Glad it's not too bad. I hope Morgan has a speedy recovery and comes back at his best!

Heehee, I agree. Normally we would be really disappointed if we got the news that a player would be out for a month, but here we are - celebrating!

Some info on his match against Andujar...

Not only is Morgan at the same academy as Andujar as David pointed out, he actually has the same coach as Andujar - Fransisco Fogues!

It's obviously difficult playing someone you train with, but Morgan says that he knew how to play against him and it all worked out to give that win.

Very glad to hear it -- big thanks Panda for getting the true story and passing it on to us. a big sigh of relief from me - we still have a season to look forward to from Morgan.

The recovery is going well by the look of it. Morgan has just started to walk again.

I hope he'll not rush with it and take his time.

Come on Morgan! He could probably win a round in a British Futures tournament just walking if he drew a British Wild cArd

Not really. Take time to get fit again Morgan!
