For the second week running, Alex regains the top 150, going up 5 to 148, as Vinciguerra, Fleishman, Capdeville, Delgardo and Andreevdefend points from last year.
Richard is not so lucky: he's defending 6 points from last year: he drops behind 4 players, another 4: Carlsen, Wang, Andreev and Agassi drop behind him. Net, he stays at 176.
Kubot, Moodie, Karanusic, Mertinak, Dorsch, Mamiit and Fognini also drop places.
As he's in qualies for Indian Wells, Alex could climb all the way past tim into the top 40, should he win the tournament. Most of his closest competitors are also doing the qualies. Kuznetsov is a danger: he's been given a wildcard into the main draw.
Bloomers isn't playing this week: his competitors are split between Indian Wells and the two challengers in Kyoto and Salinas.

Thanks RobC for these interesting stats that you continue to provide.
It astonishingly close around here, with so many 'pretty good' players fighting over these positions, ALL trying to reach that magic 100. On this particular table (Boggo/Bloomers) they ALL seem to be well known in the challenger circles - including names such as Johansson, Minar, Okun, Bastl, Wang and Ram to name a few! It would be difficult (maybe impossible) to predict the outcome of a meeting between any pair of them.
no problem mjd - good to know it's helpful: you're right, it does start to get very congested (especially a bit higher between 140 and 90), and down where Richard is now between 170 and 210: a few points can make for big rankings changes. Alex is in an "in- between" area, where it's hard to get up into, but there's not many others there, and so there are quite large gaps between players.

In Salinas, Brzezicki beat Daniel, winning the outrageously large trophy Capdeville lost toMoya tonight, so that's it for week 10: Boggo up 5 to 148, Richard down 4 to 180
