Mathieu is knocked out. Canas  is a set down against Moya ......

Benneteau plays Blake later.

Off the table, Garcia-Lopez, Korolev, ToJo and Mahut are all out. Russell won.

I've knocked Benneteau off the top to make it simpler

A much shorter table, as there are many fewer points on offer. No points to defend, as they all went off at the start of Indian Wells.

Threats are: Vliegen (who qualified ) who faces Tursunov in the first round, Massu, who faces another qualifier, Miranda, and Monfils who faces wildcard Jesse Lavine.

Tursunov beat Vliegen.  Massu won .  Just Massu and Monfils left to threaten Tim.

Both would need to win the tournament to overtake. Only one can do so, so worst case for Tim is now 47, down 1 on the week and down 3 on the fortnight. Best case is to stay at 46.

Massu beat Kunitsyn, Monfils beat Vemic and advances. Massu  takes on Starace this evening, Monfils plays Zimonjic.
