Wild cards go to Melissa Gibb, Anna Hawkins, Laura Slater and someone who didn't enter. Qualies wild cards haven't been announced/have gone to players who didn't enter.
Who can get the fourth WC?
Broady is an option as she withdrew from the events she entered in South America. Could be Steph Cornish as she hasn't played internationally since December. Maybe Sian Bayliss or Jennifer Ren will get one?
Annabel Bann is 17 and won the last ever BWTA tournament in December. She beat Natasha Hillyer in the quarters and Emily Webley-Smith 2-6, 7-5, 6-4 in the final. Previous winners are Anne K and Mel South.
Last year she won 2 British tour titles and won a round in the Ikley 10K. She needs to get ranking points in two more tournaments to get the world ranking.
She hasn't had a wildcard yet this year as the fields have been so strong but with a lot of our top players competing elsewhere and a relatively weak Jersey field it was an ideal opportunity to give her one and I think she thoroughly deserves it
[1] Elizabeth Thomas v Samantha Schoeffel FRA [3] Sherazad Ben Amar FRA v Charlotte Martin [4] Camila Giorgi ITA v [13] Holly Richards [7] Natasha Hillyer v [12] Nicola Mooney

Have you got any further info on Laura Slater, Arka ?
I've hardly anything on Laura that can't be found on the ITF site.
They can't give Naomi too many WCs because of the AER - maybe they are spacing it out? And why Steph hasn't played internationally since the Orange Bowl is a mystery.
