Starts on 6th March and is played on indoor Deco Turf.

Sadly the entering deadline was before Pauffley won his G4, so he'll have to qualify.

Barnesy is injured and won't be able to play. Pauffley didn't turn up for qualies either.

Main draw will be out tomorrow and we'll get to know about Willis then.

Pauffley has a direct entry and I don't know how!

Nasty draw for Neil.

First round:

Marcus Willis [160] defeated Stefano Valenti [167] of Italy by 76 63.
Neil Pauffley [180] defeated Remy Groenendaal [67] of the Netherlands by 61 62.

What an emphatic win for Pauffley! The best of his Junior career by a long margin. I didn't think that he would start winning against top 100 players so soon.

2nd Round

Neil Pauffley bt Radim Urbanek 6-2, 6-3
Ilija Martinoski bt Marcus Willis 4-6, 6-1, 6-2

Another good win for Pauffley, maybe Willis's conditioning let him down at the end.

Quarter Finals

Neil Pauffley vs. Valentin Dimov (BUL) (7)

Oh, Marcus. Hope he'll put in some serious work on his body very soon. He's had some very impressive results in the last few months, so it'll be a shame if he wastes his obvious talents in this way.

Dimov will be tough for Pauffley but he seems to be in great form, so you never know!

Good win the doubles. They are perfectly capable of taking the title out here.

Neil did it again!! He won 76 64.

Two wins against top 100 players out there and he didn't get one before. He will be around 135 (at least) after this. Maybe this is the start of big things for him?

Neil and Tubby are also through to the doubles semis. The top seeds are out, so they have a great chance to make it to the finals.

Semifinal:

Neil Pauffley [180] vs. sixth seed Goran Rozic [70] of the Czech Republic.

Rozic has played too little on indoor hard for us to judge him. He reached the quarters here last time but the players he defeated were no where near Pauffley's standard. Neil can take this if he plays like he has done till now.

Sadly Pauffley ran out of steam and lost 76 60.

They lost the doubles match in three sets.
