Not a good start as Ed Jones was knocked out in the first round of qualies. A player called Gary Chamberlain is still in there.

Lol that's because Chamberlain is rubbish. Not quite sure what he's doing wasting his time and money going all the way there for an ITF when he can't even get through some of the stuff back home. Bizarre decision.

Qualifier Giorgio Portaluri of Italy, who is ranked 769 (compared to Matt's 637). Portaluri seems to be an out an out clay player, so I'm surprised as to how he has managed to reach the finals, dropping a single set on his way.

If James loses he'll be ranked around 394. If he wins he'll go up to around 334.
