Yeah I feel sorry for Button but I've very it's very exciting watching Hamilton, twas a great race yesterday and had me on the edge of my seat for the whole of the first stint! (Also bravo to the race director who rarely showed Alonso out on his own in the front and instead focused on the battles )

yeah, trouble is he can't. He's in year 2 (might be 3) of a 5 year contract and he's already paying Williams an annual sum of lots of money for breaking a contract with them.

Hamilton gets to the second spot again, comfortably outperforming his (rather miffed) team mate. And becoming the first rookie to have 4 podiums in as many places and the youngest driver ever to lead the championship. Long may it last!

I've gone right off Alonso. Admittedly it must be hard for him at the moment, but he seems to lack good grace and a team ethic. ...Go Lewis! He's the main reason i tune in to watch nowadays. Very exciting. Also a special mention for David Coulthard. It was great watching him use all his experience to hold on to 5th place last weekend - without 3rd gear. And he seems to have mellowed in a good way over the last few years. I also think Nick Heidfeld will come good this season, although i don't know a lot about him.
I agree andyjmr, i was never especially enamoured of Alsono but am even less so this year, same with Raikkonen both of them seem to be acting like petulant children, upset because they're not walking the championship as expected.

i am pleased for lewis. would be great if he can stay as a contender for the title through the year, would be nice to see more than 2 horses interested as such, if we can get all 4 fighting out would be great.
but do our press never learn? Already have seen articles saying he will be better than schumacher. yes ok there is a chance he could be better than schumi, but i think at this early stage its best not to go overboard. he'd have to win every title between now at 2014 to equal him.
Inevitably at some point something will go wrong, he will make a mistake, slide off etc etc then i wonder how the press will treat him (wont be as bad as they treat our tennsio players mind, god knows why they get it so bad)
