Jamie's post match comments (from ATP website):

"We played well today. Actually Eric wasn't feeling great but that kind of helped because we didn't feel the pressure. Eric served really well, returned really well. It was a good match. We played really well. We can't even get into the tournament next week which is the funny thing. We couldn't even get a wild card. So we may not even play for another five or six weeks with Indian Wells and Miami.

"It's been a great two weeks and we won in Dallas as well the week before that so it's been great. You win a few matches and you get some confidence. You win the deuce points - the key points - and it boosts your confidence."

So it seems they did try to get into Vegas after all - not getting a wildcard is a scandal.

Well done, Booray.

Shocking that they couldn't get a WC into Vegas. 2 ATP titles in a row and they can't get a WC? I hope they manage to get a WC into Indian Wells and Miami - they deserve it after the last few weeks.

Can they not even get into qualifying at IW?   Now is really not the time to take a 5 week break when they are on such excellent form. I hope they do get a w/c, they deserve it, and I think  all doubles cognoscenti would like to see it.

Fantastic result, anyway guys.  At least Jamie knows he will have a decent career as a doubles specialist.  It must have been tough for him to see his little bro making it at the very highest level, winning tens of $K  every week, when Jamie winning $500 at a furures event would have been a pretty good week.
