These guys are amazing. 3 straight tournies, 2 being ATP's. I guarantee nobody wants to play these guys at Indian Wells. I'll post Jamie's email response if he gives me one tomorrow or later tonight.
So, when was the last time a doubles team won back to back titles?
It looked from the scores that Jamie and Eric once again played the big points better than the other team. Once they took the first set they never really looked back playing a much better return game in the second, laying the pressure on the Knowle and Melzer serves and then holding with ease themselves to keep the pressure there. 7th in the doubles race, they must be doing something right! If Indian Wells don't give them a wildcard they are muppets. I hope that after this win everyone whos anyone takes notice and urges the USTA to do the right thing! Especially as the team is half American. Congrats to the pair on another great week, thats three trophies in as many weeks It's gonna be an expensive excess baggage charge on the plane home!

If you get a chance, could you ask what happened with Las Vegas. If they entered and just missed the cut, or they asked for a wild card and didn't get one, or they just decided they needed a rest.
I guess they could still go to Vegas and hope for a withdrawal.
Any word on whether or not they are getting a wild card for Indian Wells/Miami??

Perhaps they feel like they need a week off? It's been three amazing weeks and with Gilbert batting to try and get them a WC into IW maybe there's hope they'll get there.
