Bob Woolmer, 58, has passed away. He was the Pakistan team coach. He fell unconscious Sunday morning after watching his side lose to Ireland on Saturday, and was pronounced dead by early afternoon. It is thought he may have suffered a heart attack. Jeeez

Well i didn't know this ... Bob started the development programme for associate countries, and one of the teams he coached passionately was Ireland. ... i hope he receives due recognition for this.
Bob was the most likely successor to Duncan Fletcher as well.
Sad news........
Must have been tough for some of the England players as well as the Pakistani's to hear that news. Ian Bell worked with him at Warwickshire for example...
At least England managed to beat Canada, but they'll need to improve against Kenya
Of all tyrannies a tyranny exercised for the good of its victim may be the most oppressive.... those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience
BLOODY HELL! Jamaican Police have confirmed that Bob Woolmer was murdered!
