30-0: JM nets return

30-15: Big return from B, right at H's feet and he nets

30-30: Great return from JM, right at H's feet, he scoops it right up in the air and JM smashes it away

30-40: Big serve down the T but brilliant c-c return from B. H stretches to get there but sends half-volley long

deuce: JM goes for way too much on a fh and sends it into bottom of net

Game: big serve

7-5, 5-5

30-15: B nets drop volley attempt

30-30: return winner dtl from H

30-40: b nets another drop volley attempt

deuce: big serve out wide, H return goes wide

Game B/M: Great play from Jamie, big serve manoueveres H round his half of the court with forceful volleys to win the point

1-0: Big serve from B, JM puts volley away

1-1: JM return lob is long

1-2: B nets return

2-2: Great drop volley interception from B. H puts lob up and B smashes it away]

2-3: df

2-4: Big serve, JM fh return is too high and H puts it away

2-5: B fh return into net

2-6

3-6: Big serve, return doesn't reach the net

4-6: super defensive lob from JM. H gets back but nets backhand

5-6: S nets fairly easy bh volley

6-6: H really smashes series of fhs at Jamie but he stands strong and takes his chances to put a volley away

7-6: Big serve, B puts volley away, again right on the line !

8-6: Powerful return from Jamie and Schuettler sends the volley long !!!!

Fantastic tiebreak - especially from Murray - put the nerves behind him and really found some excellent shots at the critical moments.

Maiden doubles title for him and Butorac in tandem - first of many I hope.

What a clean-up job the Murrays have done on this tournament - against the odds

Great job by Jamie and Eric. They are looking like a really good partnership. I wish teh final had been televised but thanks for the commentary so I could follow along with the scoreboard. After the tension of Andy's match, I'm not sure I could have watched the TB in this match without passing out right enough.

Good night for the Murray's - I think Andy's a tee-totaller but I'm not sure about Jamie and Booty. It could make for an interesting journey to Memphis anyway.

Big congratulations to Jamie and Bootie!

I watched the first set on the livestream then had to give in - after all it was 3am, I had been awake since 4.30am on Sunday checking Andy's result, so the spirit was willing but the flesh said "no way".

Delighted they made it.
