Murray and Butorac play a regular doubles pairing in Fisher and Parrott, but on current form should be slight favourites. The top match could go either way - Todd Perry is a very good doubles player.
Obviously it was Huss that was injured in San Jose, so James has managed to pick up experienced doubles player Chris Haggard.
There's lots of interesting 'history' with the B/M v F/P match ...
The very first time Butorac and Murray played together in LA last July, Parrott was playing with Jim Thomas and Butorac/Murray thrashed them 2 & 3.
Parrott then made the 'Buty call', as it were, and he and Butorac became a regular partnership, as Jamie went back to Colin - the two teams met the very next week in Vancouver and Parrott/Butorac won in two close sets.
Jamie then teamed up with Andy to beat Parrott/Butorac in R1 at the Tokyo Outdoor last October. Finally, Parrott/Butorac beat Murray/Kerr in the Bratislava Final last November.
It's a small world!
If Murray/Butorac get through, they are likely to face no. 1 seeds Erlich/Ram in the QFs - Andy should be able to give them a few tips about that!
Isn't it great to have two GB teams regularly in main tour doubles draws.

Jamie and Butorac will play number 1 seeds Erlich and Ram in the quarters if they can dispose of Parrott and Fisher in round 1. Erlich/Ram bt Moodie/Perry 6-3, 7-6(6).
Order of play for Tuesday has been released, and as expected there is no sign of the Brits (Aucks partner for this week lost to Jamie in the final of San Jose).
Which means there will be a feast of Murray, Murray and Auckland on Wednesday
Wow...that is cool that Auckland is playing with Chris Haggard this week. Chris is a seasoned doubles player who has been around for years. He is 35 years old. It just shows the respect that the top British Doubles players are getting now with Haggard playing with Aucks.
Imoen, moderators status (or should that be stati lol) don't change automatically. You have to change your own - though actually I have changed yours a couple of times when I noticed it looked wrong. You should currently be Masters Series Champion*, so I'll change it to that - but Grand Slam Champion comes up at 3900 posts, so watch out for that and change it for yourself if you like!
*That is, if David hasn't brought out a new series of titles, my list is quite old. . .
