Disappointing loss there for Boggo, as it is a match he needed to win, and really should have if he wants to start moving up the rankings
He just had 1 poor service game at the start of the final set where he missed a lot of first serves, and that probably was the difference. (didnt win a single point on his second serve in the 3rd set) If he had taken any of the 4 break point chances as well it probably would have been enough to win the match
From the stats his first serve was very good, but he won only 41% of points on the second serve, which added to the fact he didnt take his BP's cost him the match
not much to say really. On the one hand that was a match Boggo needs to win to progress but on the other Capdeville is higher ranked. It was always going to be a tough ask but that doesn't make the disappointment any less! Oh well, let's hope the Las Vegas (that is where he's headed right?) qualies is easier.

its a big shame alex couldnt take this match. his 1st serve stats where great 77% in 77% won, and he hit a good amount of aces, he seems to be hitting more recently considering he isnt normally a ace machine.
looking at other stats vs Cap, alex won higher % of both return points ( 37 to 32) and serve points (68-63). looks like Cap just won those big points, saving 10/11 bp's!! shows alex must have been playing well, but without being there you just cant tell what happened in the big points, maybe al got tight, maybe paul came up woth some stunning shots.
