Rob, don't you like the quick reply then ?
It's great, but I was having a grumpy old man moment and imagining the kind of endless- 2 word, banal postings that MW and andymurray.com are full of - much as I love those sites.
There were live scores for qualifying, so yes, we're in luck ... even if it doesn't look at the moment like there's going to be much GB interest for long. It would be a stunning win if Richard beat Peya.

R1: Richard Bloomfield WR 187 v (3) Alexander Peya (AUT) WR 105
A nasty draw for Bloomers - Peya has had a very good start to the year as evidenced by the fact that he is 44= in the ATP Race.
His last three matches against Brits were straight sets wins against Aucks, Big Arv and Boggo. More to the point, he beat Seppi, Soderling and Llodra in Zagreb ATP a couple of weeks ago.
That's a horrible draw....not least as Peya seems to be a bogeyman for British players. If Bloomers gets a set here, he'll have done well. For Peya to beat Soderling indoors, is an amazing result given the start to 2007 which Soderling's had and Llodra's a really tough opponent on fast indoor carpet ! Peya's a quality doubles player aswell, ranked 51 and has been top 50.
That week in Zagreb did come completely out of the blue though as previously it hadn't been a particularly good start to 2007 for him. Lost in qualies for Chennai, AO and rd2 of the Heilbronn challenger to Berrer. Hopefully that Peya shows up against Bloomers, not the one who competed in Zagreb !
In 2006, Peya's best results were 3 challenger finals and 3 semis. He's a good player on all surfaces, qualified for Wimbledon and also qualified for ATP Munich on clay.
