Great to see Goodall and Baker entered for Jersey, maybe we'll have a chance of a British winner of a British futures for once. Should give Josh a chance to get his season going too.

I see Morgan Phillips has decided to head for foreign shores once more. Things hardly went well for him in his time here though.

Also, how come Rushby, Kennaugh and especially Slabba have entered Portugal instead of Jersey?

There is a futures in Portugal the week before that they are all entered in so maybe there is some sort of training camp there.

Also probably fancy there chances more in a $10K?

Maybe they are obeying the instructions of big boss Paul Hutchins, having read his interview on britishtennis.net!

Sutton arranged a mini-tour to Portugal for a couple of their players....Slabba and Kalaitzis are just playing the two 10Ks there. Dunno about the others, maybe they're sick of losing early in rainy Britain and have headed south in search of sun and weaker fields

Shame it did coincide with Jersey, as Slabba likes the courts there.

Great chance for Kasiri and Eaton to pick up quite a few more ranking points. Those fields in Israel and Canada will be pretty weak, shame more Brits didn't head there. Good to see Queens junior champ Iain Atkinson popping up again, hadn't seen his name in a futures for a while. Hopefully he can add to his 1 ranking pt soon. Anyone seen him play ?

Think it's a good decision from Josh to drop down to futures for a bit. He hasn't played bad so far this year, has just lost some pretty close matches against tough opponents. Hopefully a few wins in 15Ks will get his confidence back up again. Also, a possiblity of renewing his rivalry with Jamie Baker. Their matches are always great to watch, currently 3-3 on the head-to-heads I think.

Kyoto courts are really fast, I wonder if Jonny Marray will decide to play qualies. The surface suits him down to the ground, made the semis in Kyoto a couple of years ago

I saw him at the Sunderland Challenger back in late 2005, to be honest I'm not sure how much I noticed him because of his game and how much because he is a local lad!

I do remember being quite impressed because he gave one of the high-ranked players a very tough match indeed. I don't remember any more, though.

That's great. I really hope that (a) he can make the most of it! but (b) he doesn't get in Boggo's way!

I reckon that If Greg plays Boggo, A-Bog would blow greg off the court currently
