Another hold on a deuce pt. What impressed me so much last week about this team was the way they played the big pts. They rarely made errors and if their opponents were going to take the game, it was going to be on a winner, not a mistake from B/M...Haven't been broken yet in the tourney, and only once last week. Impressive doubles.
Craig - are you getting TV coverage of the Tournament in the US? Hopefully Jamie wins tonight and is on centre court over the weekend so we can catch a little coverage (British Eurosport, a TV channel over here is starting its San Jose coverage tomorrow night)
15-0 30-0 40-0 40-15 40-30 deuce (suddenly 2 first serves, 2 points lost), another break back point for G/T game Butorac/Murray, yet another big point won, Butorac/Murray lead 4-2
15-0 15-15, 3 points away 15-30, now only 2 15-40, double fault, 3 match points to Butorac/Murray!!!!! 30-40, first one saved but they can't save the second!!!
GSM Butorac/Murray 6-4, 6-3 - very comfortable victory against the seeded pairing
Shame about Aucks and Huss, I hope whatever the problem is it's not too serious and heals pretty quickly. Regarding points I'm pretty sure they get the points as though they just lost in the qfs, as normal for a retirement. It's when they pull out before the match that the points thing changes, I believe.

Very many thanks to GC77 and Craig K for the commentary. I'm afraid I "tanked" after the Auckland Huss retirement - couldn't take another very late night!
