RE: Andy's Competitors Week 7: San Jose etc..

The updated table is posted here (On britishtennis.net)

Updated for the Baghdatis - Nieminen match.

Baghdatis can no longer overtake Andy, now that he's in the semi-finals, so he's safe at WR 16.

A win tonight against Roddick, would take him to world rank 15, A successful title defence takes him back to world 13.

Andy won and is WR 15. one more win ..... looks likely!

Rob, how far does your table go? DO you have Canas anywhere on teh cahrts? I was wondering where he'd be ranked now that he's reached the final of the brazil open.

Andy climbs past Gasquet to WR15.

Beat Karlovic, and he's back at 13

(Mkk, I have Canas climbing to WR71, from last week's 107 - he's back.)

I make canas at 62 if he wins. (63 if Karlovic beats Murray).

Baghdatis out

- Hopefully this isn't a trend: we've now had 2/3 ATP events this week being won by the unseeded finalist.

(I have Canas  at 63, level on points with Vassalo Arguello at 62, ahead on mandatory points - Bethan, maybe I've missed someone? Karlovic can overtake.)

Oh heck - I have Vassallo Arguello at 63 and Canas at 64 - but my table isn't automated, so I have probably dropped a clang.

Edit - indeed I had, I now have Canas 62 and VA 63.  So it looks like I agree with Imoen.

Looks like you were right Rob. The atp computer has canas as 63.
