I'd have happily taken on that mantle in exchange for an Aucks win. Shame it didn't work, although can't say I'm all that upset about being able to stay indoors tonight, it's pretty cold out. Plus our shed has two bicycles and some paint in it and very little room for anything else...

Lol, that's no excuse Bethan, I'm sure you could have fixed something up in there somehow.

Would have been so funny for your friends to have come in there in the morning and found you asleep in there !  Would have made a great Youtube video.

Oh well, wasn't really ever going to happen, unlike some-people-whos-name-I-won't-mention I think very carefully before gamling with my comfort!

Anyone realised James' game has begun and is 5-5 in the 1st set.

GSM Auckland/Huss 7-6 6-1. Fantastic win over the 1st seeds with a comfortable second set proving their run to the final of delray was no fluke and are a seriously good pairing. Why oh why are they in the same half as Jamie and Booty.

Importantly thats James' 40 points already defended I think.

I'd hoped they'd win but didn't expect it to be that comprehensive. maybe we will get the coveted all Brit (plus partners) semi final after all. hope so!

Bravo to Aucks and Huss, long may the partnership continue.

Totally unexpected result there for me!

Aucks and Huss were 14th in Mens Doubles Team race on Monday. Another good run here could take them even higher!

Wow, that's pretty good. And keep this form up for much longer and they won't drop very far down either. They just need to stay together as a partnership.

Without wanting to jinx anything (!)

There's no teams in top half that James/Huss or Jamie/Butty should be afraid of!

We could possibly have an open tournament ripe for another British win here!

Good spot!

Hoping now that Goldstein and Thomas can beat them somehow!
