I make Mel South and Cirstea favourites. They've won titles togehter before and have lost 8 games in this tournament compared to 23 games lost by their opponents...
I think Mel joins Boggo and Josh in the "Bad Start to 07" brigade.
Can anyone think of anyone else who deserves a place in this illustrious team (injuries notwithstanding - bit unfair to include Tim and/or Greg)? There's a handful in the "Good Start" bunch (Baker, Windley, Khan maybe), but I suppose most players are pretty-much par.
Can't think of anyone else to join the "Bad start to 07" on the mens side. As johnnylad says, none of the players ranked over 600 have done particularly well but their results are pretty much par. On the womens side, Rebecca Llewellyn has to be up there, she's had a shocker of a start, though this is partly due to injury.
Regarding the Good start bunch: Jocelyn Rae and Sarah Borwell have to be in there...Sarah's done really well making a couple of challengers quarters in the US. Richard Bloomfield also made the Wrexham challenger final plus there's Jamie Murray and Aucks.
