That's a shame, unfortunately it means that either Tara or Elizabeth will have to get past American 4th seed Chrissie Seredni (ranked 629) to qualify. Tara may have an outside chance but it's unlikely.

Seredni can barely win matches. Her only 2 recent wins have come over unranked Cubans.
Tara's first round opponent is 26 year old Catherine Gauthier, whose best ever performance in an international tournament is a second round appearence in a Grade 5 event.
Its great that Tara Moore is aiming high but are we getting carried away with her prospects. i think she got a good future, but if shes loses in the 1st rd of qualies at 14/15 then it is not the end.
I think she has 3 ranking points from her past adventures, so she should enter relatively high if she gets a win or two (from the old ranking system, there are quite a lot of people who is only ranking points come at the 0.25/0.75 level).

It's a different Catherine Gauthier. This one is still only 15...so she is very much an unknown quantity since she hasn't played internationally. She could be very strong or very week.
