Andy Murray

I saw it referred to on MTF in terms of making demands,, but had no idea what it was about. Sad he couldnt make it -

it seems Andy has a rep. for last minute withdrawals and change of minds, reading the MTF comments, and we know he seems to pull out late , I always put that down to fitness but I do sometimes wonder if he scurries in a direction and doesnt really think it through causing lots of work and effort and then changes his mind.

I say this as an Andy fan!

Andy has entered the Biella challenger which is a bit of a surprise

This has been reported in the Daily Telegraph. Italy also requires a 14 day quarantine for travellers from the UK. But the start date of Feb 15 would give Andy a little longer to prepare.

Elite sport persons might be exempt from the 14 day quarantine?

they have to be otherwise things like champions league football etc must stop now, as no teams could enter country, quarantine etc from those on our banned list, or vice versa to places like Italy. It would grind to a halt.

Whether it should be or not is another issue, but cant see how elite sports isnt exempt.

Andy not happy with the LTA, seems to blame them for catching Covid and missing the Australian Open.

Damn, seems to be a trending topic with the British players blame the LTA. Yes they are pretty useless yes but not to blame for others loses or perhaps bad decisions. I'm sure Andy could have access to any court he wants to in Britain, why even go to the NTC and risk it?

Sorry, didnt spot this - have duplicated it in the entries thread for this week.

Stellar field now, 14 top 20, Zverev also got a WC alongside Kei and Sinner.

Dan also in this field.

Interesting to hear the commentators at the Aus open yesterday talking about how hip conditioning has become such an essential part of physical training.
The guy was saying that it never used to be but that it's a large part of the daily work out now.
Would make a lot of sense with the pretty much complete switch over to open stance shots, and very aggressively open stance too.
