Well done Jamie! Regains the British no. 1? Looks like we could have 2 players in doubles top 50 sooner than we realised!

why do people think he regains the British no1 spot ?

I've seen that posted on several forums but James A is ranked 60 and Jamie M could only get to 65 at the most this week.

All to play for in San Jose !

Seconded, not often we get to follow such brilliant coverage for a challenger. The USTA ought to pay you two to do all the US challengers, it would be an investment worth making !

I think it's because Aucks overtook last week with a final appearance and so by winning the tournament surely Jamie will re-overtake. Of course what is forgotten is that Aucks was in an ATP whereas Jamie a challenger.

As you say, all to play for in San Jose, I just hope they don't get drawn to meet each other before the finals!!

Yeah should be very interesting over the next few weeks

They'll be going head-to-head for the British no 1 ranking in San Jose, Memphis, Las Vegas and Indian Wells

I had a great interview with B/M after the match and he gave love out to www.britishtennis.net   It will take awhile to upload, but give it a look.

Cheers,
CK
