Yeah, just seen the post I made last night. Very nonsensical

Anyway, in the women's final Claire Ricketts took the first set 6-1 mainly due to loads of unforced errors from Naomi. Ricketts main weapon is the cross court forehand which was producing plenty of winners and is very consistent and dangerous.
At the start of the second set Naomi took the first 2 games and then just retired. I think the problem was her arm or shoulder. She was holding and stretching her arm throughout the match and obviously decided it wasn't worth continuing. IMO it wasn't too serious and she should be back in action before too long. A couple of points before she retired, she hit a massive winner off the forehand. Maybe she started to feel her arm more at that point.

The men's final begun with an easy first set for Sagoo, think it was 6-1. He was back to his best form, big serving, consistent groundstrokes, plenty of winners. He tends to slice his backhand a lot and it is a decent shot. Doesn't hit too many winners of it, it is probably his weaker side although still more than good enough to keep him in rallies. His real strength is when he gets the chance to tee off on the forehand side. Even when he is on the defense in a rally, 2 or 3 shots from the forehand are usually enough to win the point.

The second set was a much closer affair, although Sagoo was holding the more comfortably. Llewellyn was trying a lot more different things in this set, drawing Sagoo into the net more than he'd been used to all week. However, this was an equally futile tactic. Sagoo is actually suprisingly good at the net! Despite spending such little time there this week, when he was required there during this final he produced some great tennis. Llewellyn came up with a couple of good passing shots but they were few and far between. However, once again during this second set Sagoo looked very tired. At 4-4 with Llewellyn serving, the match looked pretty close to over as Sagoo got to 15-40. However, he was unable to capitalise and was broken in the very next game to lose the set. At this point, I assumed Sagoo was going to lose. His final service game was very poor, I think all of the points he lost on it were unforced errors and his feet were barely moving.

Alas! The third set begun and Sagoo had refound his form and got some sort of second, third or maybe even fourth wind. He broke early on and helped himself to an ultimately comfortable final set victory. Llewellyn managed to hold for the rest of the set, but never got close on Jag's serve and he served it out at *5-4 with no worries for the title.

Not sure where he goes from here, but I see no reason why he won't be picking up rankings points fairly soon. Maybe he will get a main draw wildcard, or at least a place in qualifying. Once he is back to full fitness and able to play his best tennis for a whole week, he will be a formidable opponent. Who knows how far he can go.

Anyway guys, can't complain about the baseline reporting. Picked you the winner after the second round

Thanks for all those reports, John.
Good to see that Naomi's injury isn't that serious.

Sagoo will be very interesting to follow in the next few months.
