(4) Josh Goodall/Ross Hutchins bt Alan MacKing/L Mayer(Arg) 1-6, 7-6(5), 10-8 Jamie Baker/Michael Ryderstedt(Swe) bt A Jones(Aus)/M Torres(Bra) w/o
So Josh and Ross squeeze past the King and play great US hope Donald Young and partner in the quarter finals.
Baker and Ryderstedt work the voodoo doll and give Jamie some extra rest before his singles. They play 2nd seeds G Dragicevic/M Pehar (both USA) in the quarters.
Jamie is first up in singles today 11am local time, 5pm here against Bozo. Goodall and Hutchins are last on court, sometime in the early hours our time.
Josh missed a great chance to go deep here - both seeds in his section went out first round - Guccione suprisingly in straight sets to Brendan Evans and Odesnik who fell ill and retired.
I came home and rushed to this thread desperate to find Jamie's result and working on the idea that if he lost I could cheer myself up with other threads....and then he won, so now I'm really really happy!! And quite shocked, particularly at the scoreline, not even close!!!!
Who's next? Come on Jamie, if you win the tournament (and lets face it on this form anything's possible) you become the new British number 5!

Jamie is 3rd on Center on Thursday at about 20.00 GMT.
Ram lists his hobbies as golf, calculator bowling (errr), Frisbee, table tennis and ... errr ... tennis!
He is 3-0 v Brits since losing to Andy Murray in the Aptos Challenger in 2005, and one of those wins is a 3 & 4 win against Jamie himself in Aptos last year. Alan Mackin took the 1st set off him in Dallas last week but lost the match.
