RE: Dallas Challenger 2007.

I am using IE. It is great to have a live scoreboard but I hate it when the wrong score comes up.

Niland4.wmv includes a lovely winner for Jamie which I think secured the break for 6-5. Jamie is just out of shot when he hits the ball but you see it go right in the corner.

4-3 Jamie breaks

Must have been a long service game

Just seen the 3rd highlights package.. showed the point where Jamie broke for 5-5 quality return down the line and then a volley winner. Jamie seems to be following in big shots a lot into the net, another aspect of his game which I think he's developed a lot in the past year or so.

Niland also played a pretty good point, when he hit a dropshot which Jamie got, drawing him in and then a backhand cross-court pass.

4-3 Baker. I'm assuming that's a break?

Yep that's a break. 3 out of 4 games for Jamie now, hopefully two more comfortable holds and he's into the final qualies round.

Grrrrr, Niland breaks back for 4-4.

Both players seem to be having trouble holding in this set

5-4 to Niland. That was a quick hold.

I didn't realise that Ollie Rochus was the big star, that's surprising. Did he win any junior slams ?

Nope. Ollie stopped being world class at 16 or 17. The same time when Fed picked things up.

He won Petit As when he was 13, though. Fed on comparison lost in the quarters if I remember correctly.
