Nicked it off SteveG.
Doubt that Baker will get in directly, but he will most probably be the top seed in qualies.

Pretty confident Jamie can qualify here. Assume he is not playing today due to having a bye?

Yeah, they're spreading the qualies over 3 days here so he'll be in action tomorrow.
Neither Mirzadeh nor Niland should provide too many problems in rd2, Jamie's beaten Niland twice previously in straight sets. Mirzadeh's ranked about 600 places lower at 876.
Ross has a tough match against 7th seed Scott Lipsky. Lipsky is ranked over 200 places higher at 389. Lipsky has a massive first serve which is difficult to read due to the variety he has and he's got a good all-round game, very aggressive from the baseline and has good touch at the net. However, he hasn't had the best start to 2007, losing in qualifying in the Waikoloa challenger last week.
He's seeded to meet Jamie in the final qualifying round. On current form I'd expect Jamie to win but he could have got a kinder draw. They played twice in 2006. Lipsky won 6-3, 6-2 in the quarters of NZ F1, Jamie didn't serve well enough that day and Lipsky really got stuck into his 2nd serve. However, Jamie got revenge in Nashville last autumn, winning 7-5, 7-5.

Yeah, it's a brilliant site ! By far and away the best US challenger site I've seen !

That all depends on which Scoville turns up Will it be the one who consistently served at 80% + and beat Mackin, Niemeyer and Boggo at Delray Beach or the one who lost in rd1 of a US 10K the week before
