Didn't draw a seed this week and if she can win likely to face 8th seeded Kelly Liggan whose game Sarah should know well as I've seen their names in the same tournament loads.
I read this with a heavy heart. I lived about 45 mins West of here (it is at Indian Wells right?) Sometimes I really miss Cali, I could have gone out there and maybe interviewed Sarah for the site etc. That Indian Wells Masters tourny was the highlight of my year in Cali....no 25Ks in Montana are there? lol

Yeah, it's a shame you don't live in Cali anymore Doug, would have been great to have had a report on Sarah's matches.
I'll have a look and see if there are any US challengers in Montana. However, my knowledge of American geography isn't great, whereabouts in the US is Montana ?
Sarah is into the quarters She beat Irish 8th seed Kelly Liggan in a topsy-turvy match 7-6(4), 1-6, 6-4.
Sarah now faces American Julie Ditty for a place in the semis. Ditty defeated Argentinian 4th seed Maria-Jose Argeri 7-5, 6-4 in round 1 and she's enjoyed a strong start to the year, reaching a 25K semi in Tampa in January. Sarah has played her once before, in a 25K in Redding in 2005 when Ditty won 6-4, 7-6(4).
I made a mistake, Sarah can actually play the Midland 75K challenger this week if she wants. Qualifying starts tomorrow and the sign-in is tonight so if she can get a flight, she could make it.

Just South of Canada....lol....Salt Lake City is the closest big city about six hours away. Calgary, Canada is about seven hours to the north. I really doubt there is a tourny close by, but if there was I'd love to cover an event for you guys. My friend wants me to fly down to Indian Wells and if I do I'll let you know. Maybe I can get a pic of Marcus with Andy Murray for the site. Marcus is my son in the little pic.
