It will be solid starting event for him. It's difficult to predict his form though. In Japan and Madrid he played well. He beat Dancevic, Potro, Ancic, Lee, Verdasco and Ferrer. But I'm sure he will be in the best possible shape by the time his first match rolls around.

I know I'm late but I only just got back from work
Any chance I could add my name to the list of "Andy to lose in semis to Andy" people please.

Andy (Murray) is in form. To beat him is not easy now. You have to change pace, depth, spin, sometimes coming in and sometimes staying back. Tim beat him at Bangkok and said that this tactics works well against him. Not easy to perform such a mix though. It's not surprising that many players struggle against him. Most of them are baseliners. They are not dangerous for Andy as he is solid from the back of the court and he gives them a chance to attack him and then as a great counter-puncher he passes them with nobleness all the time. Serve and volleyers are much more dangerous for him but his returns are best on tour so eventually he beats them too. Mixing it up is the only way how to prevail him. You can see players like Clement, Gasquet, Blake, Djokovic, Robredo or Wawrinka are able to do it pretty well and Murray's game doesn't work so well like against other players. San Jose event is a good example. Both Pless and Lee had big chance to beat him.

I'll take that as an Andy to do generally well, but not saying what round he'll go out in entry then ...
Tommy, you need to be a little more specific....in this game you need to predict which round Andy will get to and who he'll go out to (unless you predict him to win the title in which case it's who he beats in the final) to have a chance of getting the points
John, Steven, Michael, Ulimate and myself all completely correct, 24pts each
Next Las Vegas. Tim in group with Mahut and the winner between Querry and qualie.
Elimination round starts Sunday, But can wait til Monday 5pm for entries, since a) It'll give us an idea who is in Tim's group and b) Might have Boggo in it, he shouldn't be be playing his elim until Monday (if he gets that far)
Woohoo, just remembered I made that prediction. Some consolation at least for Murray losing.
