this is going to be a real test for jamie, he has been fairly lucky with the draw opening up. no one has got a set of lu so far either. but he can go into the match with nothign to lose, pressur all on lu.

What a week for Jamie B. After all his struggles with American Challengers last season it looks like he has finally got the belief that he can compete at this level.
I make it that Jamie will have 157 points if he loses tomorrow. That will put him on the edge of the top 250 at a clear career high ranking. Obviously if he wins he will be well inside the top 250.
Lu will be tough, he has played two fewer matches and six fewer sets than Jamie but then again maybe Jamie will be more battle hardened.

155 - he's defending 3 points from GB F2 last year. I make it ranked at 258 - just 8 points & 8 places behind Jonny Marray, and poised to overtake both Marray and Mackin if he wins
February was looking quite scary for Jamie, with 27 points to defend, but this week ensures that he will stay in the top 300 (just) even if he doesn't defend any of them. With luck, his form this week will mean that he is more than capable of defending all of them, of course.
