Jamie and Bruno won the 1st set 7-5, had at least one match point before the tiebreak in the 2nd set, and at least one in the tiebreak too (Bruno double-faulted at *6-5 and Kubot/Melo won the next two points as well to take it 8-6) ... J & B went a mini-break up in the MTB too but couldn't hold on to it, *3-3 at the change of ends.

I am not a huge one for total points but may it be recorded that they won 42 points to 35 and had 4 BPs to 0 in the set.

 Again shows the lottery of doubles. More evidence I feel. For the Sport to be treated seriously needs a complete rethink in my opinion, otherwise dropouts and veterans game.

Thought they'd blown this in the MTB when 2-5 down but they made a good recovery. Pretty successful evening for GB and multiple finals to come.

Can Djokovic complete his set of titles? 5 RU here in Cinci...one Roger Federer stands in the way.
