Unlucky to Vic Allen lost in third- came so close very tough tennis.

Great win for Destinee. But her opponent has played on nothing but clay for the last 5 months (either in juniors or adults) - she even played a clay tournament last week. Don't think she's ever played on grass at all. You've got to wonder about some people - why bother even coming?

 Well, I guess as Fran isn't concerned about her junior ranking any more, and Emma might have a niggle, that's our two top players out.  So we're only down to the others, whatever.

Would have liked to see Sasha Hill, or Gemma, get a doubles place though.
