Ive gone for Evo, though it will depend quite heavily on whether he gets MD WCs or not for the majority of events. If he has to fight through qualifying each week it might be tough to get too many wins in the MD but Id say hes probably out most natural player on grass, either male or female.

Katie Swan is on fire at the moment. She is serving pain free for the first time in a while and she has the big serve and forehand for grass as long as she sticks to challengers, she is my pick.

 I think Katie is a really good pick.

I think it has to be one of the 'lower' ranked players i.e. not Joko, coz it's got to be someone who's playing all the events - the lower ones as well as the WTAs (with wildcards into the MD). 

Evo is obviously possible.

But I just went with a 'soft spot for an outsider' and voted for Harriet. (Gabi is pretty good on grass too). 

As Gabi is going to be ranked 125 by year end ;), I'm going for her; go, Gabi :)

So thought it was worth looking at previous years to see what pointers we have for this:

2015 - 43 wins in total (Surbiton had 14 main draw wins, Ilkley and Birmingham - women only - just 2).

What surprised me here was I had completely forgotten about Josh Milton, great year he had on the grass then. But as someone said before, mentioning 6 wins, only 2 players had 6 wins, and Andy came out top with 10. JK and Josh Milton both won matches in 3 different tournaments. 6 players managed to get 4 wins or more

2016 - 47 wins in total (11 at Wimbledon was the biggest haul, again Birmingham just had 2)

2017 - 54 wins (progress each year with Wimbledon 14 wins, Surbiton 13 this time, zero wins at Queens or Southsea)

This year Jo won, with Heather second. In the past 2 years men and women had equally split the top positions, in 2017 women dominated completely. Again only 2 players achieved 6 wins or more but only 4 players got 4 wins or more. In any other year Heather might have come out on top but Jo clearly had a special period on the grass last season. Once again JK spread here wins across 4 events, Heather and Naomi this time won in 3 events.

Make of it what you will. Reality is only 2 players seem to hit the 6 barrier each year. Surbiton and Wimbledon at either end produce the most winners over the 3 years by far, with Birmingham proving to be the least fruitful ground for our players, with Ilkley also close behind. It is all the wind and rain.
