Week 23 ITF ($100k) - Surbiton, Grass

Sign-in was only at 6pm, so the draw isn't out yet. I would expect the qualifying draw and order of play to be released any time now

Yes, the top 3 on the acceptance list are all out, so at the moment Brengle is the top seed. Harriet should also have made it into the main draw and Katy might as well.

Qualifying draw is out. One all GB tie - Sam Murray v Emily App.
Jodie and Tara not in the draw, so I assume they have wildcards.

Nice to see both Nell and Ella in the draw with QWC after this week's chaos at Oxford.
Other QWC's to Lilian Mould, Aleksandra Pitak and Victoria Allen. Enna Hurst and Summer Yardley appear to have just missed out.

Fourlis is #1 qualifying seed and two below Katy on the entry list suggesting Katy has a direct entry in to the main draw. If that's the case and Tara and Jodie join Katie S in having WCs that means there's still another WC.

Somehow most of our higher ranked women in the q draw seem to have found themselves in the first quadrant - Eden, Sam, Emily A, Beth, and it's going to be hard for any of them to get out that section. Think it is unlikely that we will have any Brits amongst the 4 qualifiers, but since even reaching the FQR provides 4 pts, there are still plenty of those to play for in the q rounds.

And not forgetting the $221 for just turning up, and $316 for a win

But there's 40 dollars inscription fee, isn't there? And is tax withheld?

It's Aleksandra Pitak that is playing Nadja Gilchrist ( Katarzyna is not in the Q draw ), which seems to leave Emma Hurst as our only ranked player that hasn't got in ( assuming that she wasn't a late withdrawal ).

Looks like Emma missed out by 6 places at the most.
