They win, 5-7 6-4 6-4

Not sure they will be happy with that to be honest. they could easily have lost in straight sets. Difficult c for doubles specialists that don't have warm ups before grand slams. still second round eh )

They got that purple patch just in time. They need it much earlier in the next round

Ken has now made it into the MD.  They play Mayer/Sousa

L64:  (5) Jamie Murray & Bruno Soares (BRA) CR 19 (9+10) defeated Frances Tiafoe & Donald Young (USA/USA) CR 414 (368+46) by 5-7 6-4 6-4

Paes/Raja or Basilashvili/Haider-Maurer in the next round.

*****

L64:  (ALT) James Cerretani (USA) & Ken Skupski CR 171 (84+87) vs Leonardo Mayer & Joćo Sousa (ARG/POR) CR 362 (131+231)

A chance of progress, I think...

I think this will be hard. Mayer and sousa are both tough cookies with solid games. 50/50 call...
