A 5th Grand Slam QF for Inglot, but a first for Daniell.

Well done to Dom and Marcus, QF is an excellent result. The partnership had a poor first week or two and I didn't expect much this fortnight but they've done well, hope it continues now through the season.

Will be 3rd on Margaret Court Arena on Wednesday, not before 2.30 pm local, 3.30 am GMT.

And the winners will play McLauchlan (JPN) & Struff (GER) who have today knocked out the top seeds Kubot & Melo.

Kubot and melo lost today as indi said, v open draw now. Mclachlan and stuff look decent though, Mclachlan of course won Tokyo last season. Bryan brothers keep on going as well, amazing really as they strode into the semis.

Tough loss for dom. But they ran them v close and it bodes well. Let's hope dom and Marcus can build on that now.

For the record:

QF:  (7) Oliver Marach & Mate Pavic (AUT/CRO) CR 33 (17+16) defeated Marcus Daniell (NZL) & Dom Inglot CR 92 (38+54) by 6-4 6-7(10) 7-6(5)

It could hardly have been closer!  Must be a bitter pill to swallow.  hmm
