Huge hurrah to Ms Jones (and partner) for making it to the QFs of a Grand Slam. No small accomplishment. Our last QFist in girls doubles was Heather Watson (l in finals alongside Timea Babos) in the year when Mladenovic won the singles.

Exciting to see the progress of Whitney Osuigwe (USA), born in 2002 (!!!) who has just gone through to the semis.

The American 'starlet', Anisimova, however, has just lost.
