2016 female ranking predictions

Predictions last year were notoriously difficult due to all the injuries - Katie Boulter, Laura Robson, Sam Murray, Jade Windley, Eleanor Dean etc and the fact that quite a few of the promising players failed to make the jump up to the next level

Again this is difficult to call, so I might need some thinking time before posting my predictions

I actually reckon that 2015 should prove pretty easy to predict

Ok - I'll start it off, but it's not easy:

1. Watson 44
2. Konta 70
3. Robson 145
4. Broady 165
5. Moore 210
6. Swan 220
7. Dunne 245
8. Christie 275
9. Carreras 302
10. Whybourn 402

EWS - I suspect will become a doubles specialist
Tough for the last place - Dart, Njoze just missing out

Players to watch - Taylor, Lumsden, Appleton, Silva, Burrage

I've left Katie Boulter out as I have no idea when she will play again, but she has the potential to break into the top 400 quite quickly.

Yes not easy - in contrast to the guys which I reeled off in just a few minutes the form was all over the place for most of the girls last year and we all have to keep our fingers crossed that Laura can finally make her comeback in earnest.

 I don't think the issues are any easier this year than last wink 

However,

In the past predictions of mine (on another forum) have been known to sink whole legions of players, so please may the Fates look away now!

Maybe we can say the following are not predictions, just the optimistic ramblings of a Victim Of Hope Over Reality :)

You could

  • upload it to office online, dropbox or similar and share a link
  • transfer the data to a google doc and share the link.
  • Take a screenshot of the data and upload it to imgur or similar, and embed the image in a post
  • Use the crude table functions in the Activeboard advanced editor to create a table in to which you could transfer the data.

#3 is probably easiest, and, if it's going to be purely for reference, should suffice.

 I use the embedded  table function in the Activeboard editor and cut and paste from excel to show the rankings standings which works fine  but will only work if not too many columns. You will probably need to use the preview function to check what it looks like before you post.
