Looking at the GB women and what they have to defend over the next few months, from mid-October to the end of the year, to get an idea of potential ups and downs:

Points to come off between mid-October and end-Dec:

Joko - Nothing ! Zero points - all upside (her lowest counter is 9)
Heather - Nothing ! Zero points - the same (even has a couple of 1 counters to get rid of).
Naomi - 10 points (hardly anything and has 9 pointer to replace it). So, again, all upside
Katy D - 19 points
Mandy - 23 points (over 3 events with 3 x 2 counters (just) to replace them so only 17 really)
Em WS - 62 points *** - that's a lot....
Harriet - 39 points *** - again, a lot
Tara - 13 points
Laura R - nothing
Katie S - nothing
Fran - 16 points (over 3 events with 1 s to replace them)
Freya - 3 points - looking good
Anna B - 15 points *
Laura D - 10 points *
Mirabelle - 4 points
Beth - 6 points
izzy - 2 points
Lucy - 1 points
Jazzamay - 2 points

There's 2 Lagos 25Ks in December for those in desperate need of points. I can't imagine the fields will be anything other than weak.

Emily normally plays the Indian 25Ks at that time of year (Katy and Katie B went there last year as well)

Laura still entered in USA at this stage.

Interesting scheduling for KS, I like the fact it's a 15k, but I'm not a big fan of European players playing in that heat and humidity, KS found it tough at the US open in similar conditions.

Katie is travelling back from Japan - she was provisionally entered for Japan 25k on grass, but chose Thailand

Yes, given the fact she 'has' to go out there anyway, for the Junior event, it seems to make sense to play another tournament while you're about it, whether Japan or Thailand - I doubt, Phil, that she'd have gone and played there if it wasn't for the Grade A event.

Looks like Dan will be straight into the Main Draw. Kyle however has withdrawn.

Josh Milton has withdrawn from China where he would have made main draw. Evo is definitely in and travelling.

Having notched two 10k titles, here's hoping Katie can give this 15k a good run :)

Looks like Evo will be playing at least a 3 week stint in NA as he is a DA for Las Vegas, Monterrey and Charlottesville plus Knoxville and Champaign the following week where the entries are not released yet.

Any Kyle injury update, he shut down pretty early last year. Perhaps that's what he needs, a bit of R and R before a 6 week trading block and then off to Auz.
