Two wins, two losses: Dommie C beats the 9th seed :::)))

and Katarina thrashes the young Swedish girl.

Savannah (not surprisingly) comes up short v the top seed and Nell also loses against the top 1000 player.

Unfortunately, she drew a former top 400 player, who is now unranked. Dasha may have a good chance of ending her losing streak though:

Saw her in Edinburgh about two years ago when she was 4-1 up on Anna Smith in first set she eventually lost but wasn't bad. Perhaps her confidence is not great at the moment I question playing every week in Sharm where the quality of the players are not earth shattering maybe time to come home!

Dominique has kept it close against her former top 400 opponent in the 2nd set, saving match points when the Russian first served for the match in the 10th game and then, after getting broken again, breaking back again to get into a tiebreak.

2-6 6-6 (3-3*)
