A decent 1st round draw for Kyle:

 

R32: Kyle Edmund WR 192 v Radu Albot (MDA) WR 172

 

The two have never played. The winner will play either Ebden or (6) Sugita. In the same quarter as top seed Berankis.

And Berankis is out as well, beaten by myneni who I have never heard of.  good opportunity to rack up some relatively easy points, will not have to play anyone ranked above 260 until the semis.  Beware banana skins though!

And in the lower half of the draw,  Jimmy Wang (4) lost to David Wu (wr 302)  and James Duckworth (5) lost to Jonathan  Eysseric of France.  Overall, the four seeded players who have played have all lost.  Odd.  I saw snippets of Jimmy Wang's match, conditions were not difficult....

Solid result for Kyle and the draw has really opened up for him with Berankis losing. This is a decent chance for a deep run.
