She would probably have preferred not to get her as early as R1, but Emily gets another crack at the player she upset 7-5 in the 3rd in the Mumbai QFs this week.

L32: Emily Webley-Smith WR 344 v (1) Patricia Mayr-Achleitner (AUT) WR 107 (CH 70 in 2009)
L32: Tara Moore WR 317 v Hsu Ching-Wen (TPE) WR 430 (= CH; 18yo junior CH 6 last year)

Patricia posted on her Facebook after her loss to Emily last week that she wouldn't be playing Delhi due to a sore back. Whether she has changed her mind or just forgotten to withdraw we shall find out!!

I'm fairly confident that you have to sign in to make the main draw, so she will on site. She could withdraw and her place go to a lucky loser.

Em 1st on at 10 am (4.30 am I believe here. Bit early for us ). Wish I was in Delhi. It's a comfortable 80 deg. One day I'll tie in an Indian trip with some tennis viewing too.

There should be streaming for those night owls on youtennis.net (aka e-tennis.tv), although it didn't seem to work today.

Also Emily's semi final was apparently broadcast last week on the Indian sports channel DD Sports, gutted I didn't realise! The same channel has a few listing for ITF tennis tournament this week, so maybe ther will be highlights from this week if she and Tara stick around long enough.

Stream not working but looks like Mayrs back is fine. Em misses two break points in the first game and two more in the fifth
