Katy and Katie should be in main draw as will Fran.

Katy and Katie will be seeded.

Great chance for Nicola to qualify

The Q2 is, in fact, also the FQR so Nicola qualifies for the MD :::)))

NB Only 4 pairs in the MD doubles ! So the girl that Nicola just beat, 1 & 0, is playing in the semis of the MD doubles :) (with her sister, from the look of it)

The doubles draw is embarrassing. I wonder why the British girls didn't sign up for doubles.

3 nice singles draws. Looks like Nicola got the short straw.

Really not quite sure why the Katy/ies are playing here.

I guess they didn't know that Katy D was going to go all the way and win the 15k. AND the doubles. And Katie B would do very well too.

But it's a poor 10k.

On hard court (i.e. nothing special).

And Katy is already the top seed by about 90 places, even BEFORE her 50 points rise.

There doesn't seem much interest. (And she was injured only a short time ago).

NB agree that the French girls are nothing to be too worried about. Even Codino has had a pretty poor-ish year, although she (obviously, given her ranking) is decent-ish.

I guess that they originally probably expected a better entry and have just stick with it.

Might as well just take the points and money ( hopefully ) and run. It is strange they aren't in the doubles to enhance their week.

The two K's next appear in a $25K in USA on 4th August. That should provide a more challenging level of competition.

Katy and Katie are also still showing on the entry list for the Nottingham 10K in that week beginning 4th August.

Without adding any ranking points, Katie has entered the top 500 in the latest rankings at WR 496. Congrats to her ! Similarly, Katy has also moved up a few places to a new CH of WR 368.

Their 15K points from last week, Katy a net 24 ( 25 - 1 ) and Katie a net 1 ( 9 - 8 ), get added next week.

It would be daft of the two K's to travel 3000 miles to play qualifiers in a very strong 25k.

I'm pretty sure they will play Nottingham 10k and then Woking 25k, where both will get wildcards if they don't make the draw direct.
