Just noticed there have been 11 breaks in 17 games (!), so maybe not a big surprise. However, Adam has just held serve so it's now 6-1 *5-5

Katy has just been bagelled by Zadoinov, but every game went to deuce - just not winning the big points at the moment.

What madness is this?!

Katy gets bagelled in the 1st set but every single game went to deuce. She took 0/10 bps, ABZ 3/4

ABV serving for the match - Katy saves at least one match point but the Spaniard now has another ... and takes it

Sounds very annoying. Of course, the young Spaniard will still have won 12 more points in that first set, but being on the wrong end of a tennis bagel is never nice.

The spaniard is only 16 but already jr 8 so clearly out of the top drawer.

That's worrying for Katie B in the next round as well then as she still has a up to date junior ranking and it is not as good as the Spaniard's.

You'd think she could have done us a favour and gone and played The U18 European Championships this week smile

Although Katie obviously didn't either and Spain still have two girls in the semis, even without their best  . . .

Very close but the young Spaniard has the final word with both our GB girls:

SF: (3) Katie Boulter WR 496 lost to (5) Aliona Bolsova Zadoinov (ESP) WR 686 (CH 589 in 2013; 16yo junior WR 8) 6-4 6-7(4) 6-3
