Alex Ward, Neil Pauffley and Cam Norrie should be in the main draw, with the first two seeded.

The Brits couldn't really have asked for a nicer set of R1 draws but three of them are due to bump into each other within a couple of rounds:

L32: (3) Alex Ward WR 417 v Florian Barth (GER) WR 849 (CH 840 earlier this month)
L32: (Q) Harry Meehan WR 1069 v (WC) Ioannis Brokakis (GRE) UNR
L32: (6) Neil Pauffley WR 553 v (WC) Christos Antonopoulos (GRE) UNR
L32: Cameron Norrie WR 797 v (Q) David Simunek (CZE) WR 1581 (CH 1571 earlier this month)

The winners of the first two matches above will meet in R2 and Neil is in the same quarter as well.

Neil completes the double bagel, losing just 12 points in the whole match!

L16: (6) Neil Pauffley WR 553 v (Q) Ervin Eleskovic (SWE) WR 1312 (CH 351 in 2011)

H2H 0-1 - Eleskovic won 3 & 4 in Mettmann in 2009

The other Brits play R1 tomorrow.

In the battle for the 'easiest' first round in the 'round of gimmes', Alex is narrowly pipped by Neil who won 0 and 0 (although against a slightly better opponent!)
