^^ Word.

Or when you sponsor British players.
Or when you refuse to sponsor the Djokovic bros.

We love you, see!

Thanks, A1. This type of input is much appreciated!

yes, I was going to say the same - it's always really interesting to have someone actually at the tournament and with direct contact with the players and to hear how they are playing, how thing's are going etc. etc.

I think that rob carter is currently batting above his Current world ranking and Could defeat win his higher ranked opponent , also expect Marcus & Lewis to win their R32 matches .

Is Graeme Dyce trying to make full time comeback on the tour?

No idea but you're our 'scottie' person - he's up your neck of the woods !

I believe that he got his MSc in Sports Management from Stirling (quite a few players up there) so maybe now he's graduated it is part of his plan.

Thanks I love to meet the players many of Brits are familiar with my presence  so happy to talk . I can also report thst last weeks Loughborough futures winner L Grigelis was looking every bit a champion

No2 seed Grigelis looked every bit a recent title winner while training adjacent to our GB no2 Dan Evans who looked tanned , fit , confident and said he was looking forward to his Asian tour where with decent draws I am confident he can do well .

Grigelis  was hitting extremely well with training partner no8 seed Sam Barry from the Irish republic they both looked confident and i expect Sam to reach at least the 1/4 final & the Lithuanian Davis cup player to reach his 2nd consecutive final .

After training on the decent Tipton courts ( lighting better than loughborough ) I drove no1 seed Marcus & doubs partner Lewis burton to a spa to swim & relax .

I am going to spend 2 days to support my players  i feel that if both can win tomorrow  they can relax and enjoy a rewarding week . I decided to stay an extra day because both have potentially tricky early matches .

I know a talented coach Euan Mcginn head of coaching at Stirling UNi  from the days when i was managing North of scotland star Jason barnett so i am keen to speak to graham , and Bruce Strachan also of north of Scotland who has a tough r32 match but I am sure on a high after gaining his first ATP points last week

nice to see george morgan back in action

George morgan or myles orton could  face Marcus Willis in R16 and are both potentially dangerous opponents .

Doubles :

I would like to see George playing more and it's interesting that he has paired with A1 Pharmaceuticals no2 Neil Pauffley in the doubles let's hope the All GB pairing can progress to the 1/4 final

Marcus Willis ( bomb ) & Lewis Burton ( burts ) are likely to face Rob carter & Oliver Hudson in the doubles QF

The all GB pair with the toughest R1 doubs match is probably kivanda/stoute v no3 seeds Griekspoor bros of the Netherlands but the Dutchman could face tougher competition by 1 of 2 stronger All GB pairs in the 1/4 finals

My doubs final prediction is Griekspoor bros v Willis /burton Or Morgan/Pauffley final

(I don't want to tempt fate but ...) it's good to see people getting along and being constructive and helpful on here again

Marcus and Lewis could meet in the QFs, of course. If there's any hope of a British winner this week, it's probably going to come from that quarter of the draw - in fact, it's quite hard to see any Brit other than a (hopefully back-in-form) Marcus giving Grigelis a decent run for his money here, though I'd love to be proved wrong and have an all-GB Final!

No Bloomers...

Good start for Aurelius, but he has to get to the final this week to earn anything serious (praise or points ).

Everything up and going in Tipton.

Mathieu Roy has had a pretty skinny run recently, barely a match won, so hopefully Rob can pull off an upset.

Like A1, I'm looking forward to seeing what some on the youngsters/less know players manage - there's some attractive draws out there and sometimes it only takes one or two good victories for a player to 'click' and things take off.
