For Alex, it's a pretty disasterous start to weeks 3&4:  The 50 points from Wrexham come off, so he dives 18 places to WR139 with no points from the Aussie Open on offer, he'll need to be a finalist at Heilbronn to make them up

The only bright spot is being ahead of Kiefer.

Chiudinelli can overtake if he beats Economidis to qualify tonight. Zverev & Luzzi  will need to reach R2 of the MD. Delgardo needs to reach the semis in La Serena, Pashanski the final. Pim Pim Johansson is also lurking

For Greg, there's a climb of 2 places to 192 as Ram, Clemens and Reynolds are defending points.

Sela and Troiki will overtake if they beat Tourte and Zverev to qualify. Kuznetsov, Reynolds, Tsonga, Tourte, Silva, Kollerer and Marray could overtake if they reach R2 of the main draw.
Lopez needs to reach the QF in La Serena. Armando, Vagnozzi and Garcia need to make the semis. Others can overtake if they reach the finals or better.

For Josh,  there's a climb of 2 places to 203, as the same three defend points.

Reynolds, Tourte, Silva and Kollerer will overtake if they beat Sluiter, Sela, Kuznetsov and Wilson to qualify. Tsonga, Marray, Summerer, Baccanello and Mackin could overtake if they reach R2 of the main draw. Vagnozzi just needs to win one round in La Serena. Garcia overtakes with a QF place.

for Richard,  there's a climb of 3 places as Vico, Morrison, Burgsmuller and Mertl defend points and drop below him.

Silva and Kollerer will overtake if they beat Kuznetsov and Wilson tonight. Marray, summerer, Baccanello, Mackin and Wilson can overtake if they reach R2 of the main draw. Cuevas and Eitzinger need QF places in La Serena.

Jonny has already advanced 10 places to WR 243.

If he wins the final qualifier against Cilic,  he'll advance to WR 232. Summerer, Baccanello, Mackin and Wilson  could then overtake him only if they advanced to R2 of the main draw. Hanescu (PR) and Smeets (WC) need to advance much further to be threats. Eitzinger would overtake if he reached R2 in La Serena. Villagran, Dabul and Zabalata if they reached the QF in La Serena.

If he loses to Cilic, then Summerer and Mackin can overtake by beating Fleishman and Luzzi and qualifying. Fognini just needs to win his first round. Otherwise it's as above.

Worst case up just the three to WR250.

Of course, more can happen during the Challengers in week 2 of the open

Alan has already advanced 11 places to WR258.

If he wins his qualifier against Luzzi, he'll advance to WR237. Summerer and Baccanello could overtake by beating Fleishman and Russell and qualifying. Wilson would need to advance to R2 of the main draw. Smeets and Hanescu would need to go further.

If he loses to Luzzi, then Wilson  could overtake by beating Kollerer and qualifying, and Hanescu & Smeets would need to go further than R2 of the main draw..

Worst case down 3 to WR255.

Of course, more can happen during the Challengers in week 2 of the open

Well, now I know where to come for reassurance if I'm ever worried that I'm the saddest statistician in the world!

Seriously though, Rob, brilliant work - it's sure to be an exciting couple of weeks with lots of changes happening.

I'll take it as a compliment.

Have updated the posts to take the La Serena Challenger next week into account.

Do you still get 5 points  for losing in R1 of Aussie Open? If so then Jonny would go higher than #234 with a win tomorrow.

Good point.  You do get 5 points for losing in the first round of a mandatory event. And it seems that qualifiers get them too.  Excellent.  I'll recast the posts (again!)

Wow Rob, I'm not even going to ask how long it took you to make that table, it takes me long enough only going down to 150!

Impressive, and interesting. Thanks.

Thanks.  I'd one down as far as Alan to be able to do teh Josh and Bloomers thread at the end of last year, and as Alan & Jonny were doing so well, it seemed to make sense to show them this week.......Luckily I can now use your top 150 to do defending/18th/19th automatically for the top guys, so it's not (quite) as much of a pain as it could have been. There will be quite a few 18th/19th points errors in there.

Summerer and Bacanello both gone out so two less threats for Alan and Jonny.

Alan's gone above Jonny with win over Luzzi, (for the time being at least).

Summerer and Bacanello both gone out so two less threats for Alan and Jonny.

Alan's gone above Jonny with win over Luzzi, (for the time being at least).

Alan's  moved up to WR 238, overtaking Jonny who drops 1 to 244. Wilson also advances and is now 5 points behind Jonny. Kollerer  goes out ahead of Alan.

If Alan beats Lapentti, that takes him up past Josh & Bloomers to WR199!! The La Serena bunch, Wilson, Hanescu & Smeets can overtake in the first week of the AO.
