Magnificent recovery to a dreadful tour in general.

Hopefully this win doesnt deflect on the problems in the test team and even in the ODI team there are a number of problems that need to be sorted.

In truth, half of me wanted England to lose this as i dont want it to act as a smokescreen, filling our players and the 'powers that be' with false confidence, but the (more influential) half of me wanted England to stick it to the AUSSIES!!!!

BTW when was the last time we beat the aussies in 3 consecutive matches (in any form of the game)?


It must be yonks since we beat them in 3 consecutive ODIs.
