Great to hear Hopefully he can get back inside the top 20, do we reckon that he still has it in him to do that ?
I don't think he can compete with the likes of Federer and Nadal, not many can, but he can still beat the likes of Davydenko, Blake, Roddick, Robredo, Nalbandian, Ancic etc on a good day and on the right surface.
The faster courts in Melbourne will suit him but I don't expect much from that tournament, hopefully Tim can continue the form he showed this autumn on the European indoor circuit in Feb and March in places like Rotterdam and Marseille which have been happy hunting grounds in the past. Tim also has a great record at Indian Wells, 2 finals there- lost to Hewitt and Federer.
I was hoping they'd show the Phillippousis match on the BBC or at least on interactive but they didn't
