Odd... I can't search through the USTA site and find it.

Thanks a lot for that. Any chance that we will get to hear that convo?

When does this tourney start, is it next week ?

Surely Jade will be playing in the Orange Bowl though ?

That guy sounds just like some of the unhelpful gits I've spoken to in British tournament offices, some of which have refused to give me any information unless I'm an LTA employee. I manage to get round it now by saying I run Boggo/Slabba/Baker/Mackin's websites. David, if you say that you run Jade's official website that should help, no one will know.

Hilarious convo there, Dave.

The Prince Cup will be played the week after Orange Bowl. It is held at Patricio Apey's (Andy's manager) academy. Andy was a winner of the 14&U tourney and Dan happens to be a former finalist.

Jade should be playing at the Yucatan Cup instead. Entry closes today for Yucatan and Casablanca, so we could get the lists sometime later today or tomorrow.

Thanks for those links Greenleaf, how do you know that Jade will be playing the Yucatan tourney, has the tournament posted an early commitments list ?

I am guessing. Hence "should be playing" and not "will be playing".

It all depends on whether Jade thinks that she should make up for her bad results or not.

Casablanca is part of the 2007 calendar even though it begins in 2006. I am pretty sure that she will play Casablanca like last year. There is a good chance of Yucatan too.

Out of interest, what is the approximate correct:incorrect ratio for your guess ?

I'm confused as the ITF list the Prince Cup as in the same week as the Orange Bowl

The Prince Cup is only a G4, what's the Yucaton one ? I think Jade's most likely to go for the higher rated one.

The last day of the Orange Bowl coincides with the first day of the Prince Cup. But since they are both held at Miami, loads of players opt for both.

Yucatan Cup is a G1.

I'd call it more of a speculation than a guess. As in... what options does a player have? I can get wrong, I can get right. Last week, I posted in the Naples thread that Nishikori will attempt to qualify and I got it right. I'll get it wrong loads of times too.

It's more likely that she will play in Casablanca than in Yucatan. I want her to play both.

I guess that Jade's based in the States now judging from the number of US tournaments she plays, which academy is she at ?

Hopefully she'll start to play more 10Ks over there next year.

I would have thought that she'd play the Yucatan Cup with it being a G1, more points on offer. Casablanca Cup is the 3rd week of December, I guess it's definately a possibility as she hasn't played much this autumn, is that a G1 too ?

For the Prince Cup, Tara Moore and Heather Watson are probably going to play there. Maybe Anna Fitzpatrick ?

Off-topic, but do you know which academy Danielle Brown is at ?
