I shall be rooting for the Ren girls. I'm sure they'll do a lot of damage in their age groups considering they've been playing senior LTA tourneys recently and matching up against decent opposition.

I think that Jessica is one of the contenders for the title. Tara won it in 2004, so it will be great if another British girl wins it. Jessica could play a famous cousin, Daria Sharapova, in the round of 16.

Laura happens to be a great prospect too. She is part of a glorious batch of girls we happen to in the 12-13 age group. She reached the last 16 as an eleven year old, so you have to fancy her chances at upsetting the seeded player. But the seeded player could be a brilliant player too. Cardenas recently joined forces with Moratgolou and is much hyped about. She also happens to have an official site.

I happen to know little about the other two girls except for the fact that Eleanor Dean happens to be based in Spain and as far as I can calculate, she goes to the same academy as Daniel Cox.

Eleanor is just ten year old!!

as the ITF doesnt DO 12 and under rankings, what is hers in GBR? or in the ETA? is she up there? (obviously up there enough to make it into the qualies of eddie herr)

No ETA ranking for 12&U. It begins at 14&U.

She is ranked 357 in the LTA rankings for 12&U, but that cannot judge her talent as she played just the one event in the ranking period. She got 250 points, so my guess is that she won it.
